Hyatt Thrive Announced Grant to Clean the World on #GivingTuesday

This is #GivingTuesday, and Hyatt chose today to announce 31 Hyatt Community Grant winners from around the world. Including Clean the World.

As a part of Hyatt Community Grants, a philanthropic program that empowers Hyatt colleagues to guide charitable giving, Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal announced that it has awarded Clean the World with a significant grant to further our efforts to reduce needless deaths due to hygiene-related illnesses.

The Hyatt Community Grants program, which is now in its seventh year, encourages hotels around the world to identify and nominate local nonprofits for funding consideration. The program builds on Hyatt’s belief that no one better understands a community’s most pressing issues – and their solutions – better than those that live and work there.

Our nomination happened thanks to Hyatt employee Kris Vos, who joined us on a soap distribution trip to Guatemala earlier this year.

Hyatt is one of the newest companies to join the #GivingTuesday social movement, a global day dedicated to giving back around the world. On the day after Cyber Monday, charities, families, businesses, community centers, and students around the world come together for one common purpose – to celebrate generosity and to give back.
